I’m Julia,

a 19 year old fighting hodgkin's lymphoma

January 22nd was the day I found out I have cancer.

It all started with a small bump on my neck, then another, and another. With the worst fear of needles, I got through the tests one day at a time. Just when I thought I was done with doctors and hospitals, I got news that no one wants to hear. I have Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma , a blood cancer that is very curable. I have now completed 12 treatments of ABVD chemotherapy which led to full remission! They weren't exactly fun but the side effects were manageable.

This site is my journal and a way to share my story. This experience has been challenging but cancer is no match for this gal.
