Today I had my second PET scan to determine whether the chemo is working well enough. I don't really have doubts that we will continue with the plan but there's always a what if we have to get more intense. I've finally figured out how to manage side effects and find some sort of routine for life... changing it up wouldn't be ideal and I don't really wanna deal with more.
It was also a big day because I had to get an intravenous put in while I was alone. Surprisingly it wasn't bad, I wasn't nervous all day and my anxiety stayed low during the poke. It kinda scares me that I wasn't scared of the needle. I'm at a place where I never thought I would be; in control of my fear and growing from each experience.
